In addition to applying to this decelerator programme, founders will have the opportunity to
contribute towards cutting-edge academic research on the topic of founder and team
wellbeing, and the outcomes of wellbeing for their venture. The research project focuses on
developing the field of entrepreneurship and is expected to help entrepreneurs gain insights
about their venture team dynamics.
This research is conducted in partnership with Founders Taboo & SuperCharger Ventures.

The research team includes Prof Ute Stephan, Dr Sonia Koller, and Ms Freya Katre who
combine expertise in psychology and entrepreneurship. Prof Stephan has spearheaded
research on entrepreneurs’ wellbeing, stress and health over the last 20 years. Ongoing
research projects include a global study of entrepreneur wellbeing and resilience, how
entrepreneurial action shapes wellbeing and illbeing, and the wellbeing of women and social
entrepreneurs. Dr. Koller is an expert in the psychology of entrepreneurship, with a keen
interest in founder team decision-making, actions, and their impact on wellbeing. Ms. Katre
is a PhD student with expertise in performance psychology, and her work focuses on creating and sustaining healthy environments that foster thriving individuals and teams.
